This Motivational Monday, I want to encourage you to

Be Bold, Be Courageous!

I must admit that sometimes I feel stuck and stagnant when it comes to all the things God has assigned to my hands. I know that I am not alone when I say this. So, I pray that this encourages all of you.

We think to ourselves, “if I only had a little more courage.” Well, I am reminded of what scripture says in Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Translation! God calls us to be courageous means we already have access to this courage. It’s not an impossible task. How do we exhibit courage and bravery? I believe it comes from boldness. We need to be bold and step confidently into God’s command. Today, I want to encourage you to be bold, brave, and courageous.

Boldness is the willingness to take risks. It goes hand in hand with confidence and courage. It’s the understanding that we can take risks because we have something, or rather, someone, backing us up. The Lord should be our source of boldness. We should be bold because we have a whole book of promises supporting us, and we have the Creator of the universe on our side. Boldness comes with a certain authority. There is authority in the name of Jesus.

Being bold in the Lord implies that we will not be passive and we will not let life take advantage of us. It means we are going to reign in life, that we are going to be overcomers, not underachievers. We are going to go over, not under. We are going to rise above our circumstances and not drown in the sea of chaos.

Living bold and courageous means moving forward despite fear, trusting in a higher purpose or strength rather than self-limitation. It involves stepping out of comfort zones to act with conviction, treating life as an opportunity for growth, and embracing challenges. Key aspects include taking risks, living with purpose, and maintaining a growth mindset.

Be bold and claim your victory.

Key Principles for Living Boldly.

Embrace Fear: Recognize that courage is not the absence of fear, but the choice to move forward despite it.

Take Action: Move out of your comfort zone, make a plan, and take risks to achieve your dreams.

Live with Conviction: Act according to your values and purpose, rather than being swayed by fear of judgment.

Develop a Growth Mindset: View failures as learning opportunities and be willing to try new things.

Seek Inner Strength: Rely on faith or personal conviction to find the fortitude to face challenges.
